Refresh Through Expressive Arts

Refresh Through Expressive Arts is a virtual group where we focus on exploring and expanding our creativity to improve and maintain our mental wellness. Each session will be centered around a theme, and we will use different art materials to find our unique forms of expression to gain personal insights. We create alongside each other and make meaningful connections to ourselves in the present moment.

Together in this space, we will use the creative process to give us energy, relaxation, inspiration and active form to curiosity, wonder and imagination. We encourage and support each other and hold space for our experiences, stories and creative journeys.

Cost: Sliding scale (pay-what-you-can) – see the registration link for more information

Refresh Through Expressive Arts costs $180 for 6 sessions ($30 for each session). We are suggesting different sliding scale options instead to reduce barriers for participation starting at $60 for all 6 sessions ($10 each session).

If the cost is a barrier for participation, please contact adultprograms@artwithaheart.ca and we can work something out so you are able to participate. We aim to make these programs as accessible as we can!

Materials

Participants can use art supplies they may already have available. We will send out a general list of suggested materials but you are encouraged to use the materials of your choice for each session.  Any other supplies you may need are to be purchased on your own OR you can be purchased through AWAH.
