Art With a Heart is a community-based charity that empowers individuals through expressive arts. We create inclusive and supportive spaces where participants can grow, express themselves, and thrive creatively. Our summer programs provide a meaningful opportunity for young artists to explore their emotions, build friendships, and develop their confidence through art.
Position Overview
Art With a Heart is looking for a dedicated Videographer to join our summer programming team for an 8-week contract. The videographer will oversee video production and document Art With A Heart’s community programming activities, events and summer camp programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Document key moments from our Community Events and Summer Camp Programs
- Produce promotional materials for Art With A Heart programming
- Setting up and operating camera equipment
- Coordinating with program staff for filming
- Ensure media content complies with AODA digital communication standards
- Ensure the material aligns with Art With a Heart’s mission of cultural celebration, community connection, and inclusivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video production
- Proficient in a variety of digital platforms and software
- Software, video creation and editing programs, web applications etc.
- Creative mind with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, communicating effectively and professionally

This is a Government of Canada funded job through the Canada Summer Jobs program. The Applicant must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment; is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protections Act [S.C. 2001, c.27]; and is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
